We're on a journey to improve the way we engage with our staff at Plymouth Community Homes so everyone in our c.650-strong workforce feels informed, empowered and heard. We want to connect colleagues with our corporate vision so they know what we're doing as an organisation, and better understand how their role is vital in supporting us to achieve our aims.
To do that, we're rolling out a brand new Internal Communications Strategy - and we need an enthusiastic and imaginative Internal Communications Officer to lead our approach to engaging, informing and listening to staff feedback through well-planned and targeted workstreams.
Our ideal candidate for this role is someone who:
Has experience of working in communications, journalism, engagement or human relations and knows how to connect with large, diverse groups of people
Is passionate about storytelling and finding creative ways to reach different audiences, including through digital platforms, well-written content and in-person events
Is confident, engaging and great at grabbing attention - and keeping it. We need a great presenter able to plan, manage and deliver staff events from conferences and team briefings to hosting webinars and meeting with stakeholders
Is also a great listener who cares about making sure every voice is heard, so staff feedback can be used effectively to make positive change
