The role:




As a member of our Corporate Communications team, you'll spot opportunities to turn stories into great pieces of content across a range of employee and Partnership internal communications channels. That could be a written story, a short video, a Viva Engage post or something else; but you'll be happy to get stuck in and create it yourself.


You'll be responsible for content on our regular emails and news centres, ensuring they remain relevant, consistent and, above all, feature captivating content that delivers brand, strategy and operational messaging clearly. You'll spot when it's time to try something different to deliver great audience outcomes.


You'll be key to the delivery of our wider communications and engagement strategy, and a trusted adviser on the most effective ways to communicate challenging topics supported by outcome focused measurement.


What you'll be doing:

Create engaging and relevant content that reflects the needs of the audience, across written communication through to multimedia, online and offline Demonstrate outstanding copywriting skills, from writing attention-grabbing headlines, to supporting on a video script Provide advice to stakeholders and other communicators on the communications options available to meet their required outcomes and bring their briefs to life Take briefs from stakeholders, challenging when appropriate to deliver measurable and creative communications that meet their outcomes Develop (simple) communications plans in support of briefs Manage the content on channels, taking ownership of the routine email communications and the structure, scheduling, and narrative of our news centres Monitor and provide updates on the measurement of communications Build and maintain relationships with communication stakeholders to spot opportunities and strengthen our communications network Work with our editorial and planning team: to ensure production and delivery runs efficiently against our editorial calendar and themes to support with coordination of key editorial and project meetings, including tracking outcomes and actions

Who we're looking for:


You'll be an experienced communications professional who is confident creating high-quality, engaging content. With an eye for storytelling and strong copywriting skills, you'll be comfortable advising stakeholders, managing competing priorities, and bringing creativity and clarity to our communications. A collaborative team player, you'll also be driven to continuously improve how we connect with our internal audiences.


Essential Criteria


Proven experience in a corporate communications or internal comms role. Strong copywriting skills, including writing for different channels and audiences. Experience managing multiple communications briefs and priorities in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of intranet and collaboration tools (e.g. SharePoint, Viva Engage/Yammer). Strong planning, organisational, and stakeholder engagement skills.

Desirable Criteria

Experience creating multimedia content (e.g. basic video/audio production). Knowledge of user-centred content design principles. Familiarity with Salesforce Marketing Cloud or similar communication platforms. A creative approach to improving internal communications channels and techniques.
