Job Summary


We are seeking a proactive and passionate Sales Advisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical and commercial support to customers and the field sales team, preparing accurate quotations using our internal configuration tool and SAP system, and ensuring a professional and responsive sales service from enquiry to order.

Key Responsibilities



?Provide technical and commercial support to customers and the field sales team. ?Prepare accurate and timely quotations using internal configuration tools and systems. ?Act as the primary contact for the field sales team, assisting with quotes, product options, pricing, and lead times. ?Liaise with Engineering, Production, and Customer Care teams to ensure quotations are technically and commercially viable. ?Communicate proactively with relevant departments and customers regarding order progress, delivery updates, delays, and changes. ?Follow up on outstanding quotations to support conversion and strengthen customer relationships. ?Respond promptly to customer enquiries by telephone and email, providing technical and product advice on steel and aluminium products, ensuring all customer interactions, quotes and sales opportunities are documented accurately within company systems. ?Support continuous improvement initiatives across the sales function to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction, including sales processes and configuration tools.

Qualifications and Skills



?Confident written and verbal communication skills ?High attention to detail and accuracy ?Ability to manage multiple priorities
?Desirable Qualifications and Skills:

?Basic technical understanding and ability to interpret drawings, specifications and fire/security standards. ?Previous experience in an internal sales or technical sales role within manufacturing or construction-related industries. ?Knowledge of steel and aluminium door systems, particularly fire and security-rated products. ?Experience within a door, window, or facade manufacturing environment. ?Understanding of BS/EN standards for fire and security doors. ?Experience using systems such as SAP and product configuration tools.
