Job Description

We are expanding our team with an Internal Sales Engineer. You will handle technical enquiries, specify solutions and help customers with accurate quotes and timely follow up.

Overview

Location: Hapton. Job type: Full time. Hours: 42 per week. Salary: 28,000 to 34,000. Holidays: 24 days plus Bank Holidays.

Key responsibilities

Respond to customer enquiries by phone and email with accurate product information and quotations Identify suitable products and solutions based on customer requirements Generate and process sales orders and follow up on quotations and opportunities Build and maintain strong customer relationships, offering technical support where appropriate Work with suppliers and internal teams to confirm pricing, availability and delivery schedules Support the external sales team with key account management and project coordination

Ideal candidate

Experience in a similar role or within the industrial automation or electrical control industry Solid understanding of products such as PLCs, drives, HMI systems and sensors would be preferable Excellent communication and customer service skills Confident working in a fast paced sales environment Organised with strong attention to detail and a proactive attitude Competent with Microsoft Office and CRM or ERP systems
