The Role:
We are recruiting an
Internal Sales Development Representative (SDR)
to join our growing sales team.
This is a
fully internal, office-based role
. You will work closely with our field sales team, generating and qualifying opportunities --
you will not be closing deals
.
Your focus is on
outbound prospecting, qualification, and booking high-quality meetings and printer trials
for our external sales representatives.
This is
not a call centre role
and
not field-based
.
Key Responsibilities:
Making outbound calls to manufacturing businesses (primarily food & drink)
Engaging decision-makers across Engineering, Production, and Operations
Qualifying opportunities based on fit, need, and potential value
Booking meetings, demos, and printer trials for the field sales team
Updating and maintaining accurate CRM records (Zoho)
Following structured call frameworks while remaining natural and professional
Handling early-stage objections calmly and confidently
Representing Newcode clearly, honestly, and professionally at all times
What We're Looking For (Essential):
Confident, professional telephone manner
Comfortable speaking to senior stakeholders
Resilient and consistent approach to outbound activity
Organised and process-driven
Willingness to learn technical products (full training provided)
Desirable
SDR, telesales, or appointment-setting experience
B2B sales background
Exposure to manufacturing or industrial environments
