Our client are seeking a talented and motivated Internal Sales Engineer to join their dynamic team. Key Responsibilities

Technical Product Support:
+ Analyse customer requirements and specifications to recommend appropriate pump products and associated equipment
+ Perform detailed sizing and selection of pump systems using specialised software and engineering principles
+ Provide technical guidance and support to both internal and external stakeholders
+ Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and product developments Customer and Supplier Liaison:
+ Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries and technical questions
+ Collaborate with suppliers to ensure product availability and resolve any issues
+ Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and suppliers
+ Conduct product presentations and demonstrations when required Quotation Generation and Follow-up:
+ Prepare detailed and accurate quotations for pump systems and associated equipment
+ Ensure all quotations are competitive and align with company pricing strategies
+ Follow up on quotations in a timely manner to maximise conversion rates
+ Negotiate terms and conditions with customers when necessary Sales Support and Order Processing:
+ Assist the external sales team with technical information and product recommendations
+ Process customer orders accurately and efficiently
+ Monitor order progress and communicate updates to customers
+ Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth order fulfilment Market Analysis and Reporting:
+ Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and trends
+ Analyse sales data and prepare regular reports on performance and market insights
+ Contribute to the development of sales strategies and product improvements
+ Participate in forecasting and budgeting activities Continuous Improvement:
+ Identify areas for process improvement within the sales and technical support functions
+ Propose and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction
+ Participate in training sessions and workshops to expand product knowledge and skills
+ Mentor junior team members and share best practices
Required Qualifications
---------------------------
Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in technical sales, preferably in the pump or motor industry
Strong technical knowledge of pump systems, fluid dynamics, motors.
Great communication skills
