We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual to join our clients team as a Full-time Internal Sales Representative. This position plays a crucial role in our organisation, serving as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries and driving sales growth through effective communication and customer service.
Key Responsibilities

First Port of Call for All Enquiries: As the initial point of contact, you will be responsible for handling a wide range of customer inquiries via phone, email, and in-person interactions. This requires excellent communication skills, a friendly demeanour, and the ability to quickly understand and address customer needs.
Preparing Quotations and Submitting to Customers: A significant part of your role will involve creating accurate and competitive quotations for our products and services. This process requires attention to detail, knowledge of our offerings, and the ability to tailor solutions to meet specific customer requirements.
Reading Engineering Drawings: While not mandatory, the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings is highly desirable. This skill will enable you to better understand customer needs and provide more accurate quotations for technical products or services.
Managing Customer Relationships: You will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with existing and potential customers. This includes regular follow-ups, addressing concerns, and identifying opportunities for upselling or cross-selling.
Order Processing: Once a quotation is accepted, you will be responsible for processing orders, ensuring all details are correctly entered into our system, and coordinating with other departments to ensure timely delivery.
Product Knowledge: Maintaining an in-depth understanding of our product range, including technical specifications, pricing, and availability, is crucial for providing accurate information to customers and creating effective quotations.
Sales Reporting: You will be required to maintain accurate records of all sales activities, including inquiries, quotations, and orders. Regular reporting on sales performance and market trends will be expected.
Collaboration with Other Departments: Working closely with other teams, such as technical support, production, and logistics, to ensure customer needs are met efficiently and effectively.
Continuous Improvement: Actively participating in team meetings and training sessions to enhance your product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer service skills.
Required Skills and Qualifications
