We are looking for an experienced internal salesperson within our Maidstone branch. This position requires candidates with experience within wholesale industry - Such as Electrical Wholesalers, Plumbing Merchants, Hardware Shops or Builders Merchants.
The successful candidate will need to demonstrate the ability to work within a small team in a fast-paced office environment. Key duties include dealing with customer enquiries and orders, supplier liaison, stock control and proactive sales activities.
This position is ideally suited to candidates with experience within the Electrical Wholesale industry, however individuals who are looking for progression from their current roles will also be considered.

Duties:
Processing quotations & sales orders for customers.
Workings closely with a large customer base, ensuring orders are completed accurately.
To increase the turnover and profit of the branch through the development of both existing and new customer accounts.
Assist on the trade counter and incoming telephone calls.
To assist with the smooth running of the branch in the absence of the Manager or delivery driver.
Assist with managing stock levels and ordering stock from manufactures.
Ideal person:
At least 2 years experience in a similar role (Wholesale or trade merchant)
Punctual & excellent time management
High attention to detail
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong customer service skills
Confident telephone manner & team player
Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word)
Good IT skills and quick to learn new systems
