Role Overview:



We are seeking a proactive and organised

Internal Sales and Marketing Support Assistant

to join our team. This dual-purpose role involves supporting day-to-day sales operations while assisting with the execution of marketing activities to help grow our customer base and maintain our market presence.

Key Responsibilities: Sales Support:



Act as the first point of contact for customer enquiries via phone, email, and in-person. Prepare and process quotations and sales orders efficiently and accurately. Liaise with suppliers to check stock availability, pricing, and lead times. Assist the external sales team with customer follow-ups and administrative tasks. Maintain accurate customer records using the CRM or internal systems. Support with stock checks, order tracking, and returns processes.

Marketing Support:



Assist in the creation and distribution of marketing materials, both digital and print. Help manage and update content on the company website and social media platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, etc.). Track and report on marketing campaigns and digital analytics. Support the planning and execution of email campaigns and newsletters. Coordinate promotional items and branded materials. Assist with organising trade shows or customer events, as needed.

Key Skills and Attributes:



Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Confident telephone manner and excellent customer service approach. Good attention to detail and organisational skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with CRM or ERP systems is a plus. Basic understanding of digital marketing tools and social media platforms. Ability to work independently and as part of a small, close-knit team.

Qualifications and Experience:



Previous experience in a sales support, customer service, or marketing role preferred. Knowledge of bearings, power transmission, or industrial supplies is an advantage but not essential - full training provided. Minimum GCSE level education; further qualifications in business, marketing, or engineering are beneficial.
