Based in the midlands we are an established UK manufacturer and market leading supplier of premium products seeking a dynamic and results-driven person to lead sales internally and drive revenue growth and customer service improvements. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker who can analyse the market, keep up with current trends and develop effective sales plans to achieve business objectives. You will possess, an understanding of sales strategies, and the ability to self-motivate in order to thrive in this role.

This is an exciting new opportunity for someone who wants to work with a desirable portfolio across multiple business sectors throughout the UK. The right person will be eager to develop their career, making this role their own, with the potential to become an on the road sales representative.

Duties



Identify leads

: Find new customers using industry directories, mailing lists, social media, and online forums, developing new sales opportunities using outbound emails, calls and lead follow-ups

Build relationships

: Develop trust and loyalty with customers by answering questions, resolving concerns, and providing information

Demonstrate products

: Explain how products and services work and how they can benefit customers

Set and achieve goals

: Meet sales targets and objectives set by leadership

Close deals

: Upselling products on orders, calling current customers who have not ordered in some time to try and get back their business.

Provide customer service

: Respond to customer inquiries and provide additional information

Manage customer portfolio

: Ensure customer feedback is captured and act on it

Coordinate with others

: Work with account managers, sales managers, and others to resolve customer issues

Monitor

market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify opportunities.

Requirements


- Good organisational and time management skills
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficiency with computer software systems
- Ability to listen to concerns and handle criticism
- A proactive and self-motivated approach to driving business growth
- Presentable
- Knowledge or interest in Equine, Building, Construction or Gardening helpful but not essential

Experience:

- sales: 2 years (required)
- Customer service: 2 years (required)

What We Can Offer:



- Guaranteed Hours: We work 9 to 5, Monday to Friday. We are looking for a full-time team member.
- Location: Onsite - office-based in Barwell, Leicestershire
