The Account Support Role is to support the account managers with quotations and securing orders to maintain and grow your sales area . You will be working with an account manager to manage a geographical sales area.
The core reactive roles will be replying to quotes quickly, monitoring the win/loss ratio, following-up opportunities from the quotes, booking meeting for the reps set in the planners, on-board and introduce new accounts to the Lapwing processes.
The focus as a team is to maintain and grow current accounts and bring on board new potential. This will require maintaining good relationships and utilise potential spend. This will be to grow existing business and maintain the target GP%.
Detailed and disciplined use of the CRM system is required to make sure all contacts are correctly recorded.
KPI's will be on the following.
- Win/Loss Ratio - Keeping the quote conversion ratio at an 80% win rate.
- Follow Up Calling - 5 Contacted calls per day.
In time with more experience, you will be able to assist on price lists and new business for the team.
We would look for progression in the product knowledge and sales skills so that the decisions for the accounts in your area will become your responsibility.
Other tasks in future would include analysis of customers for the sales reps to ascertain customer behaviors and additional products.
Assist with new business when warm leads are interested to send prices and fit visits into the Reps planners.
The hours of work are from 8.30 to 17:00, Monday to Friday, with 24 days holiday plus 8 Bank Holidays.
