Summary

We are seeking a talented Software Engineer to join our innovative team at DAVROC in the UK. In this role, you will contribute to our mission of delivering world-class bathroom solutions by developing high-quality software applications that enhance our operational efficiency and customer experience.

This role is office based only.

Responsibilities

Assist with the design, development, and maintenance of internal web-based software tools. Develop solutions primarily using PHP, jQuery, MySQL, and MSSQL. Integrate internal systems with Kerridge K8 and other ERP/MRP platforms. Lead the refresh and redevelopment of company websites, bringing them in-house. Support general IT operations as needed, including occasional first-line support. Work closely with internal departments to understand business processes and identify opportunities for automation or improvement. Ensure best practices in coding, testing, and documentation.

Skills and Experience you will have

Strong experience in PHP and jQuery development. Good working knowledge of both MySQL and Microsoft SQL Server (MSSQL). Experience integrating with Kerridge K8 or similar ERP/MRP systems. Understanding of website development and CMS platforms. Proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Excel. Solid general IT skills and a willingness to assist with basic support tasks when required. Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git). Experience working in a manufacturing, distribution, or logistics environment desirable but not essential. Ability to create working relationships with existing and potential customers, suppliers and Company internal departments. A good team player who is able to work along as well as contributing to the overall success of the team. Positive, self-motivated and professional approach. Ability to multi-task.
