The role



Benenden School, one of the UK's leading independent schools, is seeking a highly skilled International Admissions Officer to join our dynamic team.





This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role guiding international students and their families through the admissions journey, ensuring every interaction reflects Benenden's high standards.

As the School's UKVI Level 1 User, you will be responsible for managing all elements of student sponsorship and visa processes, offering expert guidance to prospective students, families and educational agents on a daily basis. Your ability to navigate the complexities of UK immigration requirements with precision and care will be crucial, as will your commitment to ensuring a supportive and professional experience for prospective students and parents.

Your support will widen the opportunities for pupils across the world to benefit from our educational philosophy and you will play a vital role in delivering a premium service as part of a new-look Admissions team that is committed to the successful delivery of the School's ambitious recruitment targets.

About You



We are looking for an individual who can combine strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build meaningful relationships with families and agents from around the world.

A thorough understanding of the independent school admissions process and previous experience of handling visa applications as a UKVI Tier 4 sponsor is essential, however, we can offer comprehensive training to the right candidate.





Ideally, you will have previous experience in a successful admissions environment, preferably within the independent school's sector, and a confident grasp of systems such as iSAMS or similar. Familiarity with entrance tests such as UKiset or the ISEB Common Pre-Test will also be advantageous.
