OVERALL MISSION
To identify, develop, and close new opportunities in airfreight, ocean freight, and pharmaceutical logistics. This role focuses on UK exports, with some import activities, emphasizing bulk deliveries. The successful candidate will be responsible for achieving an annual target of 0.5 million with measurable business results within six months.
MAIN CONTRIBUTION
The International Business Development Manager is a self-starter who will bring existing leads to this role. He/She will be quick to understand the CRYOPDP product range and thereafter target, acquire and win new business from outside the current customer base. A hunting only role.Identify and pursue new business opportunities in airfreight, ocean freight, and pharma logistics Develop and maintain strong relationships with potential clients Create tailored logistics solutions that meet customer needs, focusing on bulk deliveries Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery from sale to execution Track and report sales performance against the 0.5 million target within the first six months Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities

The International Business Development Manager will interface internally with Logistics, Customer Experience Sales and Pricing and externally with Clients.

Required Skills:Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management within the logistics or freight forwarding industry Familiarity with both UK export and import regulations and procedures Understanding of pharmaceutical industry compliance and cold chain logistics.

Specific Experience & Knowledge RequiredMinimum 5 years field sales in a comparable role Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management within the logistics or freight forwarding industry. Strong knowledge of airfreight, ocean freight, and pharmaceutical logistics. Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales targets, particularly in bulk deliveries. Understanding of pharmaceutical industry compliance and cold chain logistics.
