About the Role

The International Business Development Representative (BDR) - Benelux is a targeted, commissioned role working in the Business Development Team that forms part of our Direct Sales team. Your job will be to source and qualify Leads converting them into Sales Qualified Opportunities (SQO) that the Sales Team can then close as Deals. You will focus specifically on the Benelux region with potential to expand into other territories.
You will report to the International BDR Manager.
You will form trusted relationships with Sales and BDR Management, the wider Sales team, Marketing and your Business Development Representative peers.
Your target and commission are the number of SQOs you create and the revenue we expect to be closed from these.
50% based upon the quantity of SQOs you pass to the Sales team that are accepted.
50% based upon the value of the SQO's that you have passed to the Sales team that are accepted.
To succeed in this role, you'll work the Leads in your name in the CRM quickly and efficiently. Time on the phone speaking to prospects is a critical success indicator. Conversations will relate to the Prospect's email, SMS, and multichannel marketing automation needs, so awareness of marketing principles and strategies is essential.

As
an
International
BDR, you will:
Generate a pipeline of Leads through prospect calls, emails, meetings, events and networking.
Qualify the Marketing and Partner pipeline and convert them into SQOs.
Qualify Leads until they meet the acceptance criteria of the relevant Sales, CPaaS, Partner or Customer Success Managers, including a clearly defined next step, current provider, email/SMS and contact volume required, current pain points, the reason for moving, timeframe, budget, and integration.
Research and enrich the Leads' data in your name, including Partner ecosystem, Stakeholder mapping, Strategic Goals, customer research and more.
Collaborate with the Marketing Team to help them better target your Prospects using personalised marketing automation or Account-Based Marketing (ABM) tactics.
Schedule discovery meetings of qualified Prospects with a Sales Rep, ready for SQO acceptance.
Actively participate in and add to team learning opportunities and your personal development.
Occasionally, travel to Nordic and Benelux countries to attend expos, lunches/dinners, Dotdigital-owned and other events to source opportunities.
About You

Skills and Experience:
One years experience in a business working with prospects and customers is beneficial
Experience reaching or exceeding monthly activity goals or revenue target is preferable.
Experience using tools like, Microsoft Dynamics CRM, Hubspot, Salesloft or similar is preferable.
You will be part of the Sales Team - excellent written, verbal, problem-solving and interpersonal skills are a must.
Ability to multi-task, prioritise, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
You'll be a self-starter who has a desire to learn, grow, and excel in your role.
You will be self-motivated, competitive and knowledgeable. In addition, strong problem-solving skills, super-organised, high energy and a positive attitude are necessary.
You will have an eye for recognising buying signals and understanding where Dotdigital can help Prospects.
Bachelor's degree preferred.
Proficiency in Dutch, or other European languages is highly beneficial
