Your role as an International Logistics Analyst will play a key role in the fulfilment of high-volume import freight operations, working with many of the world's leading third-party logistics and shipping companies to manage the timely handling of goods for the groups various banner companies.
What's the job?:
Supporting the management of the group's commercial sea freight contracts with 3PL service providers and shipping companies.
Providing reports to communicate Kingfisher banner requirements to service providers (e.g. forecasts, shipping arrangements, performance targets) to enable them to implement their operations effectively.
Responsibility for overseeing the activities of our 3PL service providers and managing these relationships to ensure service levels are in line with Kingfishers expectations.
Communicating with a large internal and external stakeholder group, dealing promptly to resolve operational, service and contractual issues as they arise and giving clear direction to 3PL operational teams.
Monitoring and analysing the performance of 3PL service providers across all aspects of the logistics process and supporting the management of contractors through regular review meetings (e.g. KPI Reporting).
Producing regular internal reports spanning the full end-to-end process of the Import Logistics network.
Communicating and managing large sets of sensitive commercial data with an exceptionally high degree of accuracy.
What you'll bring:
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint (core requirement).
An academic qualification in Logistics or Supply chain management or experience working in an international logistics or freight role in a 3pl / Carrier or within the logistics team of a major retailer.
The ability to work effectively under pressure and to manage competing timelines whilst still maintaining a high level of accuracy.
The ability to manipulate, analyse, summarise and present complex data sets.
Strong planning and prioritisation skills.
