International Product Communications Associate, Action Adventure and EA Partner Games - 12 Month Temporary Contract

We\'re looking for a communication manager who has a passion for Action and Adventure games to join our International Communications teams. As the Manager for International Communications, you will support the communication of the Electronic Arts product portfolio and studio voice of EA through traditional media across International markets.

Reporting to the Senior Manager International Communications, you will work in close collaboration upstream with global communication team members across our Action & Adventure and EA Partners games and downstream with in-region marketing teams and external PR agencies. You will be devoted to supporting the success of Dragon Age and Dead Space franchise whilst working in line with the company\'s corporate communications strategy and enterprise-wide communications agenda. You will use your experience working on PR campaigns to jump right in and quickly learn the collaborative processes in which we work.

As International Product Communications Manager, you will be tasked with being the primary point of connection between International and Global Communications on FPS titles. You will help to communicate how the roll-out of strategy, communication creative and activations can be most effective across International markets to ensure product campaigns are truly global.

In addition to supporting the execution of global PR plans by regional teams and agencies, you will help facilitate inbound media requests outside the planned story cadence with the local teams, ensuring there is a clear and established point of contact within the International Communications team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Senior Manager in partnering with the regional and local Brand Marketing teams aiding our International agency network.
  • Help to ensure the powerful messages and storylines we deliver through PR and owned channels meet the business and communication needs of International markets.
  • Draft press materials and other communications for International markets when required.
  • In collaboration with the Global communications team, help to increase awareness and brand recognition across International markets through various PR and media strategies.
  • In collaboration with the Senior Manager, coordinate with key internal stakeholders to ensure the use of tools, creation of partnerships, allocation of marketing spend and event attendance dovetail into and maximize the execution of our editorial plans.
  • Ensure accurate reporting and feedback on local executions to the global communications leads and Senior Manager in a timely fashion.
  • Coordinate and support respective agencies to pitch and place work in national, regional and local news outlets.
  • Working with the wider Integrated Communications team to ensure the execution of global product campaigns are in line with local corporate communication needs and sensitivities.
  • Support a local PR agency with PR material and campaign review, from planning phase to the execution. Exact PR agency to be determined
Experience and Skills
  • 5+ years of experience in communications, strategic media relations or public relations in multiple International territories.
  • Must be passionate about communications and media relations with finger on the pulse of the latest industry trends and can deliver measurable results.
  • Must be a strategic thinker with experience conceiving and leveraging relationships.
  • Demonstrated strength in building, managing, and motivating agency networks.
  • Ability to build strong collaborative relationships with a diverse range of partners.
  • Proven ability to think ahead, problem solve, engage proactively and take initiative.
  • Strong process-minded planner who can determine deadlines, logistics and operational plans for multi-dimensional programs and events across the region.

  • Excellent persuasive writing, editing and verbal communications skills, including presentation skills.
  • Existing International media relations network.
  • Multiple European language speaker a preference
