Job Description

The International Sales Engineer - EMEA is responsible for achieving sales targets for THT products and services through all sales channels in the assigned territory. You will combine strong technical knowledge with commercial acumen, building trusted relationships with customers and channel partners while delivering tailored solutions that meet client requirements.

Joining the THT team offers an exciting opportunity to develop your technical sales career within a collaborative environment. This is a hands-on role with an ambitious and growing SME with primary markets across Asia, North America, and Europe.

THT serves markets including battery safety research and chemical process safety. Our customer portfolio includes globally recognised and marketing leading brands in electric vehicle manufacturing, consumer electronics, battery development, pharmaceuticals, and reactive chemicals.

Key Responsibilities



Sales Strategy & Business Development



Develop and execute international sales strategies to expand market share for THT in all target markets.

Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities in target industries and regions.

Conduct market research and competitor analysis to inform sales strategies and product positioning.

Customer & Partner Relationship management



Manage and grow relationships with key accounts, distributors, and channel partners (as appropriate to the territory and agreed strategies) to achieve revenue targets.

Represent the company at international trade shows, conferences, and client visits.

Provide customer feedback to the product development team to support continuous improvement and innovation.

Technical Sales & Support



Provide technical consultation and solution-based selling to customers, ensuring product offerings meet client specifications and application needs.

Deliver technical presentations and training sessions for customers and partners.

Collaborate with internal engineering, marketing, and operations teams to develop tailored proposals and ensure seamless project delivery.

Sales Operations & Deal Management



Prepare and present quotations, negotiate commercial terms, and close complex sales deals.

Maintain accurate sales forecasts, pipelines, and reports in CRM systems.

Ensure compliance with export regulations, pricing policies, and contractual obligations.

Experience managing sales pipelines and forecasting accurately.

Organisational Skills & Travel



Familiarity with CRM systems

Strong organisational skills to manage multiple international projects simultaneously and manage travel plans.

Willingness to travel internationally for customer visits, trade shows, and partner meetings.

Professional presentation skills for representing the company in global forums.

Experience



Professional Experience



2-5+ years of experience in international sales, business development, or technical sales.

Demonstrated success selling scientific instruments, technical or engineered products (electronics, manufacturing equipment, automation, industrial machinery, etc.).

Prior involvement in solution-based selling for capital equipment or technically complex solutions.

Educational Background



Bachelor's degree in Engineering (electrical, mechanical, industrial) or a related technical field (preferred but not mandatory).

Alternatively, solid technical aptitude paired with a business degree.

Additional training in sales, negotiation, or international business is a plus.

Sales role @ 50,000+ OTE, plus benefits

Pay: 45,000.00-50,000.00 per year
