What You'll Be Doing:

  • Reconcile global banking activity and support hedging/FX strategies
  • Lead and maintain import/export documentation and compliance
  • Collaborate with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and customs agents
  • Produce financial statements, cashflow forecasts, and budget reports
  • Oversee HMRC compliance, VAT returns, and international tax considerations
  • Administer trade-related insurance, legal contracts, and statutory filings
  • Coordinate financial input from our offices in Asia and Africa for consolidated reporting
  • Support the implementation of new accounting systems and digital finance processes
What We're Looking For:
  • MAAT/CIMA/ACCA qualified OR qualified by experience (min. 5 years in UK-based finance roles)
  • Demonstrated experience in international trade finance, especially in manufacturing, commodities, or logistics
  • Proven hands-on involvement in foreign exchange and multi-currency reconciliations
  • Skilled in coordinating logistics and finance across borders-bonus if you've handled shipping documents or customs clearance
  • Advanced Excel and working knowledge of accounting software or ERP systems
  • Meticulous attention to detail, commercial awareness, and the ability to work independently
  • Strong communication skills with confidence to liaise with overseas teams and stakeholders
Why Join Us?
  • Be a key finance and operations partner in a globally connected company
  • Gain exposure to international trade deals and strategic commercial decision-making
  • Play a lead role in modernising finance systems and controls
  • Work within a tight-knit, experienced team with autonomy and impact
