O'Neills Irish International Sports Company Limited is recruiting for a full-time IT Operations Lead to take charge of internal IT support operations across our growing, multi-site business.

This role will suit someone who is comfortable working in a hands-on support environment while also managing systems, processes, and supplier relationships. You'll lead a small team based at our Strabane HQ and be the go-to person for day-to-day IT support, project coordination, and infrastructure planning.

You don't need to be a deep-dive infrastructure specialist--but you do need to understand how modern workplace systems operate and be able to manage external technical support confidently.

Summary



We are seeking an Operations Lead to join our dynamic team in Dublin. This pivotal role will oversee daily operations, ensuring efficiency and excellence in our manufacturing processes. The Operations Lead will play a crucial role in driving our mission of delivering top-quality sports products.

Key Responsibilities



Lead and support the internal IT helpdesk team. Coordinate with external suppliers and technical partners on system support and projects. Take ownership of project work--such as system upgrades, device replacements, and office/site fitouts (including overseas) Monitor and improve day-to-day ticketing and support processes Ensure proper documentation, user onboarding/offboarding, and system access control Help manage hardware and software purchasing across the company Report into senior leadership with updates, priorities, and recommendations Maintain good working relationships with colleagues across departments and uphold O'Neills' brand values in all external engagements.

Essential Criteria:



Solid experience in an IT support or operations role Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Azure AD, device compliance and endpoint security Confidence managing third-party IT support Ability to lead a small team and communicate clearly across departments A hands-on, structured approach--you'll roll up your sleeves when needed Flexibility to travel when required Strong communication and relationship-building skills. Experience managing multiple tasks in a dynamic environment, with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines. Attention to detail and ability to maintain a high level of professionalism Able to perform calmly under pressure with conflicting demands; must be able to priorities conflicting tasks to achieve tight deadlines Strong team player with exceptional interpersonal skills

Desirable Criteria:



Experience using ticketing systems (e.g. Zendesk or similar) Previous experience in manufacturing, distribution, or multi-site business Knowledge of Windows 11 rollout considerations.
