River Beach is a large primary school of 670 children, with a 3 form intake and a nursery. We are based in a unique position in Littlehampton being within easy access of both the River Arun and the English Channel. We are part of the Schoolsworks Academy Trust as well as working with Littlehampton locality group of schools, sharing in collaborative learning developments across the area.

Salary:

TMS / UPS, dependent on experience, 32,916 to 51,048 p.a. pro rata

Contract Type:

Fixed Term to 31.08.2026

Working Pattern:

0.6 FTE teacher (mornings)

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, positive and dedicated teacher, to join our friendly, caring and committed team as an intervention Teacher working mainly with our year 6 pupils. In particular, we are looking for someone who is already an excellent class teacher, and with experience of the high expectations within year 6.

The successful candidate will be an effective, creative teacher, able to inspire and motivate children to do their best. They will have a very good understanding of high quality teaching and learning, together with a firm grasp of how to promote excellent behaviour.
