Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Fire Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining fire protection systems. This role requires a strong understanding of both electrical and mechanical systems, as well as the ability to work with various tools and technologies. The Fire Engineer will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and compliance of our facilities.

Duties

Design and develop fire protection systems in accordance with industry standards and regulations. Create detailed schematics and technical drawings using CAD software. Conduct site assessments to evaluate existing fire safety measures and identify areas for improvement. Collaborate with other engineering disciplines to integrate fire safety systems into overall building designs. Perform testing and inspections of fire protection equipment to ensure functionality and compliance. Provide technical support during the installation of fire protection systems, including training personnel on system operation. Maintain accurate documentation of designs, modifications, and maintenance activities.

Skills

Proficiency in system design and the ability to create detailed schematics. Strong electrical and mechanical knowledge relevant to fire protection systems. Experience with hand tools and power tools used in installation and maintenance tasks. Ability to build prototypes or models as necessary for testing purposes. Familiarity with CAD software for creating technical drawings and layouts. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and clients.
