Job Description


Our client, a globally recognised Auction House are seeking to appoint an Inventory Coordinator based in London.

This role offers industry training and excellent progression opportunities. This role is a 9-month fixed-term contract.

You will be responsible for the following duties:

  • Showcase excellent client service, representing the organisation with the upmost professionalism.
  • Reach out to clients regarding the reconciliation of artworks and other property, maintaining an excellent level of customer service.
  • Return all property to clients, coordinating the outbound logistics and transportation, across air, road and sea freight.
  • Liaise with the operations team, arrange the handling of artwork, packaging, and crating services.
  • Communicate with third parties to discuss inventory management.
  • Carry out standard administrative procedures.
  • Carry out any additional ad hoc tasks as directed by the department Manager.
The ideal candidate will have:
  • Previous experience working within the fine art industry, liaising with HNWI.
  • Experience with art logistics and shipping is beneficial.
  • Working knowledge of logistics documentation is advantageous.
  • Highly organised with a key attention to detail.
  • Ability to work both efficiently and autonomously.
  • Excellent verbal and writing communication skills.
  • Experience with Outlook and MS Office Suite.
