About the Role
On behalf of our client, a leading organisation in the aviation industry, we are currently recruiting for a Inventory Operator to support their materials team to ensure the required materials, tools and equipment are provided. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic environment with a strong focus on safety, compliance, and technical excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure all pre-load and defect materials are forward loaded to the appropriate zone.
Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives within the Stores function.
Maintain a professional and organized Stores environment that supports optimal operational performance.
Demonstrate a full understanding of procedures and airworthiness requirements.
Receive and issue materials and tools to Production promptly and in accordance with established procedures.
Manage the return of materials and tools, ensuring correct packaging, documentation, and transaction accuracy.
Maintain the integrity of SAP and Cribmaster systems at all times.
Conduct perpetual inventory audits and counting activities.
Comply with inspection and material handling requirements as defined within the I/O remit.
Expedite the receipt of items in line with departmental procedures.
Pick items accurately based on picking lists.
Replenish free-issue racks as required.
Ensure compliance with all applicable company, legal, and regulatory requirements, as directed by the line manager or business needs.
Perform other duties within competence as required.
Provide operational support to other departments when necessary.
Candidate Requirements
Essential:
Minimum of 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grade C or above, including English and Maths, or the ability to demonstrate relevant experience within an aircraft environment.
Proven experience in Stores operations within a regulated environment.
A relevant Stores qualification is desirable.
