As we grow, we're looking for an Inventory Planner to join our operations/supply chain team to support inventory optimisation, demand planning, and ensuring product availability aligns with business goals.

The Role



As Inventory Planner, you will ensure the right levels of inventory are maintained to meet demand, while minimising excess and obsolescence. You will partner with merchandising, operations, production, and finance teams to develop robust forecasts, monitor stock levels, and plan replenishment.

Key Responsibilities



Develop, maintain and refine demand forecasts for assigned SKUs / product categories, using historical sales data, seasonal trends, marketing/promotional plans. Monitor stock levels (raw materials, in?process, finished goods), safety stock, lead times, and replenishment parameters. Plan purchase orders and replenishment schedules; work with suppliers to confirm lead times and delivery schedule. Analyse inventory performance (e.g. inventory turnover, aging, fill rate, stockouts) and recommend actions for improvement. Collaborate with merchandising / sales / marketing teams to understand upcoming product launches, promotions, campaigns, ensuring inventory plans support them. Assist with inventory budget / forecasting; collaborate with finance to reconcile variances. Maintain accurate inventory records; ensure systems data (ERP / stock management software) reflect real?time stock position. Identify risks (e.g. delayed shipment, demand shifts, supply bottlenecks) and propose mitigation strategies.

Your Profile



Strong experience in inventory planning, demand planning, or supply chain role - ideally in retail, fashion / accessories, or consumer goods. Proven track record using forecasting methods and demand planning tools. Numerate, analytical, detail-oriented; able to work with data, spot trends, variances, and forecast accuracy metrics. Good understanding of production / lead time management, safety stock, reorder point calculations. Proficiency in spreadsheet tools (Excel), and ideally experience with ERP / inventory management systems. Strong communication skills, with ability to liaise cross-functionally (procurement, operations, finance, merchandising). Strong organisational skills, able to multitask and prioritise in a fast-paced environment. Proactive mindset; adaptable to change; able to anticipate problems and propose solutions.
