Job Description

Position Purpose:



The Centralized Procurement function ensures efficient inventory and procurement management across all sites, focusing on maintaining optimal stock levels, addressing non-conformance issues, and minimizing financial impact from aged stock. The position coordinates purchase orders, manages intercompany stock movements, and resolves critical part shortages, all while meeting key KPIs. Additionally, the role will standardize procurement processes, mentor team members, and ensure alignment with organizational objectives to support smooth operations and operational efficiency

Key responsibilities and accountabilities:



Forecast demand for aviation parts and materials based on scheduled maintenance, fleet usage, historical trends, and OEM recommendations.

Maintain optimal inventory levels across warehouses and line stations to ensure part availability while minimizing excess and obsolete stock.

Coordinate with sales, procurement and work shop teams to align inventory strategies with operational requirements.

Monitor lead times, part usage rates, and repair turnaround times to continuously improve planning accuracy and responsiveness.

Analyze inventory performance metrics (e.g., fill rates, inventory turnover, backorders) and recommend data-driven improvements.

Perform regular data reviews to ensure accuracy of inventory records, part classifications, and demand forecasts.

Analyze large datasets to identify trends in part consumption, usage patterns, and seasonal demand fluctuations.

Extract, clean, and manipulate data from ERP/MRP systems to support decision-making and reporting.

Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track key inventory KPIs and drive continuous improvement.

Use data insights to optimize inventory strategies, including min/max settings, reordering parameters, and safety stock levels.

Collaborate with vendors, MROs, and logistics teams to resolve supply disruptions and support AOG (Aircraft on Ground) priorities.

Ensure all inventory planning activities comply with aviation regulatory requirements and internal quality standards.

Technical Skills / Key Competencies



Inventory Management Systems (ERP/MRP):



Proficiency with aviation-specific ERP/MRP platforms such as SAP, Quantum, or TRAX. Ability to navigate and extract data, generate reports, and adjust planning parameters within these systems.

Data Analysis & Reporting Tools:



Strong Microsoft Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, conditional formatting, data modelling). Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar business intelligence/reporting tools for creating dashboards and tracking KPIs. Basic understanding of SQL for querying databases is a plus.

Forecasting & Demand Planning Tools:



Familiarity with demand forecasting models and planning tools used in aviation or supply chain environments. Knowledge of statistical forecasting, ABC/XYZ classification, and reorder point logic.

Inventory Optimization Techniques:



Understanding of inventory control strategies: min/max levels, safety stock, EOQ, and reorder point planning. Ability to interpret usage trends and adjust stocking strategies accordingly.

Regulatory & Compliance Systems

:

Knowledge of aviation regulatory requirements (FAA, EASA, etc.) for parts traceability, shelf life control, and documentation. Experience ensuring data integrity and compliance in regulated environments.

Pay: 40,000.00-45,000.00 per year
