We are looking for someone to #JoinUs as an Investigative Trainer in our Investigative Training Unit, Learning and Development.

About the team/Department you will be joining:
We are a large team based in Ty Morgannwg (HQ) Bridgend, but, there will be the requirement on occasion for the successful applicant to work at other locations throughout the force.
There is an ability to work flexibly when not delivering courses in Ty Morgannwg (HQ), or, in other areas of the force.
Our courses are delivered between the hours of 9am and 5pm, Monday-Friday.
About the role and your key responsibilities:
To plan and deliver innovative training, complete associated administration and develop all South Wales Police officers, staff and external bodies as necessary.
To stay updated with the latest investigative techniques and legal requirements to ensure training content is current and relevant.
Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make necessary adjustments to improve outcomes.
What skills and experience do we need you to bring to the role:
The applicant must be / have been PIP 2 accredited and be an experienced Investigator.
The applicant must be the holder of a police trainer's certificate (or be prepared to attend a course to successfully obtain one) or hold a Certificate in Education in post 16 Education or
Knowledge and experience of Advanced Witness and Suspect Interviewing is desirable.

The successful Candidate must be willing to undergo vetting to MV/SC Vetting.
