This is an exciting opportunity for someone from a trading standards or other law enforcement background to work within the Trading Standards Scotland interventions team as an investigator.
Trading Standards Scotland (TSS) is the national Trading Standards team hosted by COSLA which has responsibility for coordinating and undertaking national and cross border consumer protection cases as well as illegal money lending cases on behalf of local authority trading standards services. The successful applicant will investigate offences under consumer protection legislation as referred to the team through a national tasking process.
