This opportunity exists to join one of the largest and most active investors into the UK Mid-Market. The business has been a consistent investor across the UK combining a regional model and strong sector knowledge which has led to a track record of success. This opportunity gives an ambitious individual the scope to leverage their skills, establish themselves and build a market in one of the most well respected and multi-award winning Mid-Market PE firms in the UK.
It is now looking to grow its team across the East Midlands and East of England. The roles available are an Investment Manager level with ties across the region (Nottingham, Leicester, Derby, Northampton, Milton Keynes, Cambridge, Norwich) or with an experienced Investment Director with ties to Milton Keynes or Cambridge.
This opportunity is well-suited to those considering a move from London, offering the chance to build a high-impact career working for the leader in its regional market.
What the job involves

• Work on all aspects of the transaction process from origination, deal structuring, negotiation, execution, and portfolio management
• Take specific responsibility for work streams, and run parts of a transaction
• Work actively with the portfolio post-acquisition

Who we are looking for

• Experience in transaction services, corporate finance or M&A, either from a top accountancy firm, investment bank or private equity firm
• Strong financial, analytical and commercial skills
• Ambition and drive for investments into the UK Mid-Market, with a forward thinking approach for their success
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
