Join us at Barclays as an Investments Operations Analyst on a Fixed Term Contract up until March 2026, to support Private Banking Wealth Management with day-to-day processing, reviewing, reporting, and issue resolution.


Some essential skills you will need to be successful in the role as an Investments Operations Analyst are:

Good knowledge and experience of corporate actions (UK and International) and how they impact at a wealth management/private bank level. Strong knowledge of product types from Equities, Bonds & Funds to more complex products Hedge funds, derivatives and Private Markets. Understanding of proxy voting and ESG. Experience of managing and delivering change management and strategy execution across Corporate Action journey.

Some other highly valued skills are:

Asset servicing/Corporate Action knowledge. Investments operation knowledge. Previous experience working in Private Banking sector. Previous experience and working knowledge of Private Equity Funds, Hedge Funds, Structured Products, Proxy Voting and OTC products.

This role will be based in Glasgow.

Purpose of the role

To support business areas with day-to-day processing, reviewing, reporting, trading and issue resolution.

Accountabilities

Support various business areas with day-to-day initiatives including processing, reviewing, reporting, trading, and issue resolution. Collaboration with teams across the bank to align and integrate operational processes. Identification of areas for improvement and providing recommendations in operational processes. Development and implementation of operational procedures and controls to mitigate risks and maintain operational efficiency. Development of reports and presentations on operational performance and communicate findings to internal senior stakeholders. Identification of industry trends and developments to implement best practice in banking operations. Participation in projects and initiatives to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness.
