About the Role:



We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organised Invoicing Assistant to join our finance team. This role is primarily responsible for accurately and efficiently raising customer invoices in line with internal processes and timelines. You'll play a key part in maintaining the financial health of the business by ensuring timely and correct billing, working closely with internal teams to ensure all invoice data is complete and accurate.

Key Responsibilities:



Raise and issue customer invoices in line with agreed schedules or triggers (e.g. order completion, delivery, or milestone). Validate invoice data against internal systems, sales records, or work completed. Liaise with internal departments (e.g. sales, operations) to resolve any discrepancies or missing information. Ensure VAT and tax information is applied correctly to all invoices. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all invoicing activities. Support month-end closing processes with invoice reports as required. Respond to internal and external invoice-related queries. Assist with continuous improvements in the invoicing process to improve speed, accuracy, and compliance.

Requirements



Previous experience in a finance or administrative role (experience with invoicing a must). High attention to detail and accuracy. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage repetitive tasks efficiently. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and finance or ERP systems (e.g. Xero, Sage, Quickbooks). Good communication skills and a team player attitude. Ability to manage deadlines and prioritise workload effectively.

Pay: 12.20-13.90 per hour
