The Role
We're looking for a proactive and detail-oriented professional to take ownership of our invoicing and valuation operation, including the use of NSR Mechanical schedule of rates for certain clients. You'd be at the heart of ensuring our projects are invoiced accurately and on time, working closely with the Operations and Finance teams to expedite completion of works.
You'd play a key role in shaping how we deliver value, with the opportunity to lead a small team, build strong relationships across the business, and grow your career in a supportive, forward-thinking environment.
Key Responsibilities
Partner with the Operations team to ensure smooth contract delivery and meeting of client deadlines.
Track work status to produce accurate job reports and valuations.
Prepare and submit payment applications.
Generate invoices and provide clear, professional reporting for clients and internal use.
Liaise closely with Finance and Operations to drive cash flow and project completion.
Support, guide, and develop a small team to deliver consistent results.
? What We're Looking For
Excellent attention to detail (essential)
Experience using NSR Mechanical schedules (desirable).
Experience in Sales Invoicing and understanding VAT tax codes
Experience in CIS Invoicing.
Background in the plumbing, heating, AC, or electrical sector (preferred).
A good understanding of finance processes (an advantage).
Strong analytical ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other digital tools.
Clear and confident written communication skills.
Ability to prioritise, multi-task, and deliver under pressure.
Willingness to meet fixed deadlines at important times of the year.
A collaborative approach to working with colleagues and stakeholders.
