Are you an experienced assessor, verifier, or tutor with a sharp eye for detail and a passion for raising standards? This could be the role for you.
New Meaning Training (NMT) is seeking a 6-month fixed-term Internal Quality Assurance (IQA) Coordinator to join our central team. In this role, you'll make a real difference by ensuring the quality and consistency of assessment and delivery across our Functional Skills and skills-based programmes.
Perhaps you're already working as an Internal Verifier, Quality Lead, or Senior Tutor and are looking for a new challenge where your expertise directly supports colleagues and impacts learner success. Or maybe you've gained IQA experience as part of a wider teaching role and want to step into a position focused solely on quality assurance. Either way, you'll bring a collaborative approach, strong communication skills, and a drive to support best practice across multiple centres.
This is a unique opportunity to join an organisation that tailors its programmes to learners with diverse needs, and to help us maintain the highest standards as we continue to grow.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and carry out internal quality assurance activities across multiple qualification areas.
Sample learner work, check assessor decisions and ensure compliance with NOCN requirements.
Produce clear written reports highlighting strengths and areas for development.
Provide constructive feedback to tutors and submit formal reports to Area Managers for review and sign-off.
Ensure actions are completed within agreed timescales and follow up where required.
Drive consistency through standardisation of assessment decisions across all centres.
Communicate effectively with tutors, managers and other stakeholders.
Travel to NMT centres as required, with flexibility for home working.

NMT programmes are tailored to the individual needs of each learner, taking into account Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) as well as Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. We apply the principles of a
Loving Care Approach
