Overview

We are seeking an experienced Irrigation Design Specialist to join our expert team, contributing to the design and specification of high-quality irrigation systems.

With over 30 years of experience, our irrigation team delivers industry-leading solutions for sports stadiums, golf courses, landscapes, and private gardens. We manage every aspect of irrigation, from water sourcing and storage to advanced control systems, pumps, sprinklers, and full system support.

As part of our team, you'll work on a wide range of projects, applying your expertise to design and specify high-performance irrigation systems that meet the needs of our prestigious clients. Our clients include prestigious private estates, professional sports clubs, and top 100golf clubs across the UK and Ireland.

Responsibilities

Site survey works. Design of golf and sports irrigation systems. Design of residential and commercial irrigation systems. Production of both design and as laid plans. Production of bills of quantities. Production of project specific irrigation specifications. Liaise and assist our sales team. Liaison with our estimating team on final pricing. Liaison with installation teams and marking out.

Requirements

Pump station sizing. Water storage specifications. Pipe sizing and layouts. Positioning of valves and sprinklers. Knowledge of low volume irrigation products. Knowledge of irrigation control systems and principles. Understanding of Rain Bird, Hunter & Toro irrigation products. Basic or intermediate CAD skills. Full UK driving licence. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Good communication skills for client interactions. A high level of attention to detail.
