The IWS Group is seeking a hands-on and detail-oriented

Print Production and Design Specialist

to take ownership of our

safety signage

category. This is a varied and rewarding role combining artwork setup, signage production, and continuous improvement in a collaborative print environment.



Beaverswood, based in Wokingham, manufactures innovative products that make the workplace work smarter with a range of visual management products, suitable for lean manufacturing and 5S or any workplace that needs to be safe, productive, and organised. The product range includes labelling and ticketing; document display and signage; waste segregation; shadow boards; specialist impact protection, racking protection and warehouse safety products. The range is supported by market expertise, marketing, promotional and reseller resources and materials, and aftersales support.



This role is based at Head Office, 5 days per week.

Responsibilities

Safety Signage Category Ownership



Manage the production of all incoming safety sign orders Review artwork for accuracy and compliance with safety standards Create or amend signage designs using Adobe Illustrator Record and report on signage output and productivity Explore and propose process or equipment improvements in collaboration with suppliers and partners


Print Room Operations



Operate and maintain digital printing and finishing equipment Perform quality checks and troubleshoot production issues Assemble, pack, and prepare printed items for despatch Maintain documentation for print and production outputs Ensure a clean, organised, and safe workspace


Team Support & Collaboration



Work closely with the Sales Desk, Production, and Labelling teams Provide flexible support to the wider Production team as needed Create labels within the Bartender software

Success Management

Build and maintain effective working relationships. Achievement of weekly/monthly KPI's. Meet or exceed expectations on the dispatch of goods and accuracy of prints. Maintenance of auditable documentation trails. Engagement with Sales Desk, Production, and Labelling teams to ensure timely completion of projects. Demonstration of continuous improvement.

Skills, Knowledge & Experience

Experience in a production, printing, or manufacturing environment Strong organisational skills and attention to detail Ability to meet deadlines and manage workload independently Comfortable performing manual tasks while standing or sitting for long periods Proficient IT skills (Microsoft Excel, Outlook) Experience using Adobe Illustrator or similar design software Familiarity with Bartender or other label production software would be desirable.

Capable of working to challenging deadlines and managing multiple tasks efficiently. Initiative-taking, hands-on, can-do attitude. Able to work independently and autonomously when required. A result-orientated problem solver. Diligence, tenacious, persistent, and balanced. Able to articulate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences. Establish and maintain effective working relationships using communication skills. Be the go-to person for all things print production and design.
