The ITAO (IT Application Owner) will be responsible in incorporating the adopted approach into best practice and to improve the infrastructure ensuring compliance with technical roadmap, to improve safety and security of the application, compliance with regulations, policies, and standards, enhance operational readiness, and ease maintenance of the environment for delivering change into production.
In this role you will work in a team as the ITAO for Automation platforms in DB, focusing on operational maintenance automation and observability portfolio of applications.

Your key responsibilities
The IT Application Owner (ITAO) has sound IT risk management skill. They follow one of several possible service delivery approaches, acknowledge interface with the IT application's life cycle.
The ITAO is aware of the gap in the current infrastructure solutions and where industry innovations are along the maturity lifecycle. They work with application stakeholders to improve the infrastructure.
The ITAO supports the bank's audit function in the remediation of audit points and self-identified issues to reduce risk. The ITAO is responsible for producing and maintaining accurate documentation on compliance with methodologies, IT policies and IT security requirements.
The ITAO interacts with and influences colleagues on the governance of IT platform reliability and resilience. The ITAO is overall accountable for application and/or infrastructure asset instances.
Manages and maintains the application ensuring compliance with applicable IT policies & procedures with specific consideration to IT Management and Information Security policies.
Your skills and experience
IT experience with expertise in system design, development, implementation, user support, and project management knowledge.
Understanding of IT risk, controls, and security management
Possesses strong analytical, problem-solving, and creative abilities.
Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and a proactive, adaptable approach.
Highly efficient, organized, and detail-oriented in managing tasks.
ITIL or COBIT understanding is preferred but not essential
