To provide world class user support to all the Aimia foods employees across all company sites and provide technical support for the infrastructure.
To install, configure, document and deploy a wide range of hardware and software across the business.
To undertake various technical projects within the IT department.
Manage and maintain the various IT checklists.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
Responsible for the monitoring of operational systems for example but not limited to server health checks, monitoring backups.
Reactive to problems.
Produce quality documentation to help implement and maintain a qualified and auditable network.
Manage, maintain, and administer the integrity of the end user infrastructure to comply with current IT policies.
Ability to work outside of normal working hours to support IT projects, business requirements, and incident response as required.
Proactively seek out any areas of improvement and make recommendations.
Must be comfortable and effective working independently on tasks but also be able to collaborate well with others within a team environment, adapting to different situations as needed.
To be able to take initiative, work independently.
Personal Attributes
Good communicator with effective interpersonal skills to work well with people at all levels of the business and will be required to communicate verbally and via online communication platforms.
The jobholder will be required to participate in meetings.
The jobholder will be required to write technical documentation such as but not limited to installation, configuration and troubleshooting guides.
To take responsibility for personal performance and the development of personal skills to ensure the required skills, knowledge and competence to fulfil the role.
Must be able to mentor and train users on the use of the technologies used at Aimia Foods either on a one-to-one basis or to a group for example but not limited to trouble shooting, usage, housekeeping, introduction of new IT systems and services.
Experience and Skills
Excellent problem-solving skills.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours a week.
