Job Description

We are looking for an Business Analyst with experience of retail in an 'bricks and mortar' environment. This role sits within our IT team and is based here at our Support Centre in Speke, Liverpool L24 and reports into our Solutions Delivery Manager.
In this role, you will be responsible for:

• Collating requirements from multiple points around the business, documenting and communicating these reliably and accurately to the wider team including direct communication with developers
• Being the key colleague in scoping, assessing, and prioritising projects and components for large scale, high impact development projects
• Presenting project work to the wider team for development, and seeing these projects through to completion, providing additional support as required
• Playing a key role in the coordination and successful execution of user acceptance testing and rollout of changes

A bit about you:

• We are seeking a focused, engaging and methodical Business Analyst with first-rate communication skills
• Business Analyst by title and definition and preferably already having worked in a retail environment but equally fast-paced environments if not.
• You will have worked in multi-disciplined teams that are a mix of business, delivery and technical roles
• Practical experience of working with a variety of methodologies
• The ability to work within a multifaceted and changing environment where priorities and activities will be changing is vital.
• You will be able to respond energetically and proactively to drive change at a fast pace to help deliver the business strategy
• Approachable, engaging and able to influence with rationale based on fact and not afraid to question and challenge
