Overview:
Nomad Digital are currently recruiting for an IT & Business Systems Support to join our IT division in Newcastle. The successful person will be responsible for supporting the Nomad IT team in providing IT services to the company globally.
This role will be based from our Newcastle head office with a hybrid working arrangement (3 days in the office per week)
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Work as part of a team to provide support on a number of key business systems such as the Office 365 suite (OneDrive, Microsoft Teams, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online and Azure AD), NetSuite (ERP System) and Telephone system.
Provide support via phone, email and face-to-face and within the set SLA
Assist in the investigation of security tickets and the implementation of new systems to improve security
Provide support on projects as identified by the IT & Business Systems Administrator/Supervisor
Complete tasks and objectives set by other members of the team on time and within scope to ensure all of the team is fully supported and departmental goals are reached.
Assist with the tasks associated with Nomad's new starter and leaver procedure
Provide general hardware and software support across a wide range of devices
Work with the team to maintain the software and hardware asset management system
Produce reports on system usage and display management information
Analyse incident trends and proactively look for solutions to reduce support tickets
Produce knowledge articles for the team and end users on common issues and known problems
Qualification requirements:
Graduate with a Business and IT background or relevant IT apprenticeship
ITIL Foundation
Experience Requirements:
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Windows 10 & 11
Good working knowledge of PC hardware and diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues.
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 applications including Visio and Project.
Good working knowledge of Windows Mobile, Android and Apple iOS devices
Understanding of Office 365, preferably with experience of administrating Microsoft Teams, Exchange Online, Azure Entra, Defender and troubleshooting OneDrive for Business
Understanding of SIP telephone systems
Working knowledge of SharePoint preferably administrating via SharePoint Online
Working knowledge of ERP systems such as NetSuite
Experience with Windows PowerShell
Experience with Linux and Apple operating systems desirably but not essential
Knowledge of current trends in IT systems and security
Experience of dealing with the needs of a diverse workforce with a wide range of IT skills
12 months experience working in an IT/Desktop Support role
