Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical IT Analyst to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for analysing and improving our IT systems, ensuring optimal performance and security. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work collaboratively with various departments to meet organisational goals.

Duties

Conduct thorough analysis of existing IT systems and processes to identify areas for improvement. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and develop specifications for new systems or enhancements. Assist in the implementation of IT solutions, ensuring they align with business objectives. Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and provide technical support as needed. Prepare documentation for system configurations, processes, and user guides. Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to recommend innovative solutions. Participate in training sessions for staff on new systems or updates.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred. Proven experience as an IT Analyst or similar role is advantageous. Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, software development life cycle (SDLC), and project management methodologies. Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail. Proficiency in data analysis tools and methodologies. Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, Java, or SQL is desirable but not essential. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey technical information clearly to non-technical stakeholders. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
