Fairfield School of Business currently has an opportunity for a full-time IT Coordinator at their Croydon campus.
Job Duties (Not Limited to):
Delegate duties and tasks within the IT department.
Review completed tasks to ascertain compliance with standards
Monitor all team members and provide necessary advice and guidance.
Perform periodic risk assessments and initiate risk control strategies.
Assist the IT Network Manager in Coaching all team members and motivate them to produce desired results.
Keep up with trends in the constantly evolving information technology industry.
Perform regular IT audit to discover areas of weaknesses and fortify them.
Work alongside other departments to achieve company goals and visions.
Write and forward regular reports to the management.
Provide solution to any complex IT related challenges in the organization.
Carry out in-depth research to reveal new and better methods of handling functions within the department.
Ensure that the company's data and information are protected from unauthorized access.
Supervise repair and maintenance of all IT gadgets and network appliances
Liaise with project management teams, third-line engineers and service desk engineers on a regular basis and manage the team rota.
Report network operational status by gathering and prioritising information and managing projects
Configure routing and switching equipment, hosted IP voice services and firewalls
Undertake data network fault investigations in local and wide area environments using information from multiple sources
Act as 1st and 2nd line support technician to assist students and staff members when and where required
Procuring network equipment and managing subcontractors involved with network installation
The work is office-based, although the successful candidate may need to work across different sites
The successful candidate may be on a call outside office hours, at weekends or in the evenings
Requirements and skills:
Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject
Proven working experience in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting Windows Server 2016, 2019 "AD, DHCP, DNS, Group Policy Management"
Experience maintaining and troubleshooting Windows operating systems "Windows 10 & Windows 11, Server 2016 and 2019", Intune, AAD, M365, Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, Backup solution.
Experience with virtualization & Cluster failover
Experience with monitoring systems
Advanced knowledge of Office 365 and Azure Active Directory
Providing design, deploying, configuring, and supporting Desktops Technologies in a distributed environment "SCCM & Intune preferable"
CCNA, AZ900, AZ104 desirable.
