Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and driven IT Delivery Manager to join our IT Project Delivery team at De La Rue and to join the IT Senior Leadership Team.


You will be someone who combines strategic thinking with hands-on delivery skills, able to manage complex projects from concept to completion while building strong relationships across technical and business teams. The ideal candidate will hold a recognised project management qualification and have a proven track record of leading multiple concurrent IT delivery projects, implementing best practices in project management, and driving continuous improvement. You will demonstrate the ability to understand the wider business objectives to assist with decision making and prioritisations of projects in line with business need and strategy. You will bring excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, a collaborative mindset, and the confidence to ensure that engagement with all IT teams takes place as a matter of course, and that IT requirements for business led projects are factored into the delivery process.

Key Responsibilities



Ensure all project work undertaken within IT is prioritised in line with the overall corporate strategies, engaging with business stakeholders to set expectations and explain the IT roadmap Work with peers in the IT leadership team and the Group IT Director to provide a cohesive plan of work that across IT, will underpin the IT roadmap. Deliver a monthly overview to the wider IT organisation, so teams feel engaged in the wider IT activities and can provide insights on upcoming tasks. Oversee or produce and maintain work package artefacts - plans, scoping documents, user stories and management plans - as required Review and manage risks, issues and opportunities Manage the governance of work falling under your responsibility, chairing meetings and producing the required reporting

Skills, Qualifications & Experience



Educated to degree level or equivalent work experience. Formal Project Management qualification with strong understanding of project delivery lifecycle Extensive experience of managing multiple concurrent projects People management experience (including matrixed resources) Ability to work across organisational boundaries and bring cross functional teams together to deliver for the business Able to understand wider business objectives and apply to prioritising work for self and others Demonstrable experience of interpreting business requirements translating business need into clear direction for IT teams Knowledge of common business processes in a manufacturing environment. Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, Record to Report, Supply Chain Management and Production Make to Order
