We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused IT Desktop Engineer to join our dynamic technology team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical support and troubleshooting services to end-users across the organization. Your primary duties will include installing, configuring, and maintaining desktop hardware, software, and peripherals. You will manage daily technical issues via ticketing systems, resolve incidents both remotely and in person, and ensure all IT assets are accurately tracked and maintained. Collaborating closely with other IT professionals, you will assist in system upgrades, patch management, and rollouts of new applications and operating systems.
The ideal candidate will have a solid background in Windows and Mac OS environments, experience with Active Directory, and a clear understanding of TCP/IP networking fundamentals. You should be adept at diagnosing and resolving technical issues efficiently, demonstrating excellent communication and interpersonal skills with users of all technical levels. Key responsibilities also include supporting video conferencing tools, maintaining security protocols, and providing onboarding IT support for new employees. A minimum of 2 years' experience in a desktop support or IT helpdesk role is required, along with relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate, or similar.
