To administer, maintain and enhance the College IT systems under the direction of the Head of ICT and Learning Resources. To provide a second and third line IT support service to staff and students.

Key Responsibilities
Provide support in the use of, and troubleshoot problems with, College IT systems.
Investigate and roll out new hardware, software, processes, and systems within the College.
Install, configure, or upgrade College IT systems to suit current requirements.Analyse College IT requirements and research technical solutions to meet them.
Collaborate with and, where necessary, supervise external support engineers while on site.
Lead, or work as part of, a team to deliver large IT projects.
Assist with the coordination and planning of special projects and preparation of associated plans and reports.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of IT systems; suggest and research improvements to College systems.

Level 4 qualification in IT or similar subject
A personal commitment to keeping your professional knowledge up to date and improving your capabilities
A willingness to undertake staff development, additional subject training and skills updating in line with professional standards
Demonstrate the ability to learn and update technical skills quickly in line with changing needs and technologies
