Solutions Engineer (Cyber Security)
? London EC3R / Hybrid
? Up to 45,000 (DOE)
We're a managed IT services provider for the creative industry, supporting 5,000+ users across 100+ businesses. We're looking for a Solutions Engineer with cyber security expertise to help protect and improve our clients' IT environments.
You'll take a hands-on role in designing, implementing, and managing security solutions, working across network, endpoint, and cloud platforms. This is a client-facing position where you'll provide expert guidance, respond to security incidents, and help drive best practice across all client systems.
Key responsibilities:
Design, implement, and maintain security solutions including firewalls, endpoint protection, and cloud security services
Lead and support incident response, investigation, containment, and remediation
Conduct vulnerability assessments and risk reviews, recommending and deploying improvements
Implement and manage security monitoring and reporting tools
Advise clients on cyber security best practices, policies, and compliance requirements
Work closely with internal engineering teams and support junior engineers
Key experience & skills:
Proven experience in an IT solutions, service desk or engineer role
Strong knowledge of network security, firewalls, EDR, and SIEM tools
Experience securing Microsoft Azure and/or AWS environments
Hands-on endpoint security experience (Defender, Sophos, Bitdefender or similar)
Understanding of Cyber Essentials / Cyber Essentials Plus and security frameworks
Confident communicator, comfortable working directly with clients
