IT Enterprise Architect (Microsoft Azure & 365)
Contract Length: 6-12 Months (likely to extend)
Location: Remote (UK-based)
Day Rate: up to 1000 Inside IR35
Start Date: ASAP
We're looking for an experienced IT Enterprise Architect with deep expertise in Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 to lead a major cloud integration and consolidation programme. You'll take ownership of designing and delivering a unified architecture across multiple business units - bringing together Azure tenants, Microsoft 365 environments, and network infrastructure into a cohesive, secure ecosystem.

Key Experience Needed

• Strong background in IT architecture (10+ years), with 5+ years in Azure environments
• Proven experience in Microsoft 365 and Azure tenant mergers or migrations
• Expertise in Azure AD / Entra ID design and integration (SSO, RBAC, hybrid identity)
• Deep understanding of Azure architecture (compute, storage, networking, governance)
• Hands-on with automation tools and scripting (PowerShell preferred)
• Excellent stakeholder communication and leadership across technical and business teams

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of Azure and Microsoft 365 integration projects
• Unify and secure identity and access structures across organizations
• Oversee migration of workloads, applications, and data between Azure environments
• Define governance frameworks aligned to Zero Trust and compliance standards
• Collaborate with IT, security, and business leaders to shape target architecture and roadmap
