Paramount Retail Group, a dynamic group of companies operating across the retail and eCommerce space, is looking for a proactive and enthusiastic IT Support Specialist to join our growing internal IT team.

Based at our main office in Goldthorpe, you'll also provide on-site support at other locations including Birstall, Shipley, and additional UK sites (travel expenses covered).

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with IT experience (or equivalent knowledge) who wants to build their career in a supportive and fast-paced environment. Training will be provided, and you'll be empowered to grow your technical and professional skills while supporting a wide variety of users and systems.

What You'll Do:



Provide 1st and 2nd line IT support to employees across the group (remote and on-site) Assist in setting up and onboarding new team members (laptops, software, systems access) Maintain and support Microsoft 365, Windows Server, and Active Directory environments Support and troubleshoot hardware (PCs, laptops, mobile scanners, printers) Help maintain and improve our internal servers and network infrastructure Work with our Helpdesk ticketing system to resolve and track support requests Collaborate with different departments and external vendors to solve IT issues efficiently Take part in exciting IT projects as we expand and improve our operations

Who We're Looking For:



A self-starter with experience in a similar IT role (or strong practical knowledge) Familiar with Windows Server environments, Microsoft 365, and Active Directory Confident in supporting end-users with a helpful and professional approach Willing and able to travel to other UK sites occasionally (company covered) Eager to learn, grow and take on new challenges in a varied role

Desirable (but not essential) Skills:



Knowledge of VMware or other virtualization tools Experience with service desk/ticketing systems (e.g. Service Desk Pro) Exposure to mobile device management (MDM) and networking basics
