Technical support for BW Legal is crucial to our success. As the First Line Support colleague within our IT Operations Team, your mission is to enable and support the colleagues and technology that keep BW Legal running.



Working alongside our experienced team, you will provide front line user support for all of our internal tools and technologies. Beyond the day-to-day, youll be part of a team that contributes to longer term technical projects, process improvement and the documentation efforts that help make BW Legal a leader in its field.

What you will be doing:





Providing IT Support for technical issues involving the Microsoft core business applications and operating systems Overseeing the remote monitoring and management system alerts and notifications, responding accordingly through service tickets Installing and testing monitors, computers and printers Compiling system documentation regarding the IT maintenance schedule Communicating with business-wide colleagues, keeping them informed of incident progress and notifying them of impending changes or agreed outages Liaising with IT Operations Second Line Engineers to resolve issues, as well as with the wider IT department within the business to ensure issues are raised


We ask you to have the following skills and experience:





A good understanding of operating systems, business applications and network systems Technical awareness; the ability to match resources to technical issues appropriately Knowledge of Windows 10 and 11 Knowledge of Microsoft Server Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office GCSE or equivalent in Maths and English, Grade C or above


Your working week will be Monday to Friday, 6 hours per day between 8am and 2pm, with some flexibility required for ongoing ad hoc projects.



With a starting salary of between 19,000-23,000 depending on your experience, you will enjoy regular performance-based reviews which reward success with a clear progression path for future earnings.
