Job: IT Graduate

Location: Coventry

Based at our state-of-the-art offices in Coventry, Kite is looking for new IT Graduate who is passionate about IT and IT systems and wants to become a proactive team player in a dynamic and growing technology distribution business.

We require an enthusiastic, recent graduate with an all-round skillset who would like to develop their IT systems experience, customer service and business expertise. Specifically, this involves supporting IT users within the company, learning our integrated systems and helping develop improvements across the network in terms of enhanced performance and industry leading IT security.

The successful candidate will be joining the core technology team of the business that consists of IT, web development, software development, data analytics and online marketing. Senior management view the technology team and technological development as being central to Kite's growth strategy both now and in the future.

We operate from 9 sites in the UK, with the technology team being based in Coventry. The IT Graduate Role:

The role will specifically cover the following areas, working based at our Coventry office:

Proactively manage a wide range of IT issues that come into the Service Desk from all users across the UK and the company's management team. Taking ownership and quickly resolving any queries and issues through to successful completion. Troubleshooting issues arising with hardware and software in an office and warehouse environment. Monitor daily performance and operational efficiencies to ensure IT systems are running at optimal levels. Analysing and auditing email gateway flow to ensure security policies are fit for purpose and configured to combat ever evolving zero-day external inbound threats with a view to improving efficiencies of repetitive tasks. Providing architectural and technical advice to ensure we are using the Office 365 suite to the best of its capabilities. Improving Endpoint management capabilities and software update cycles for both Microsoft and non-Microsoft applications. Pro-actively monitoring security dashboards and metrics to ensure the internal network and public facing assets are protected in the most efficient way.

Bachelor's degree in: Information Technology, Cyber Security, Internet Security, Networking, or a related field

Package

Basic Salary: 30k Good work - life balance, typically 8:30am to 5:30pm Monday to Friday. 22 Days Holidays, rising to 25 days over 3 years A range of benefits: life insurance, pension, and an optional healthcare scheme. The option to become a shareholder in the business after 6 months employment.
