IT Helpdesk

Lead

, you'll manage the day-to-day operations of the IT Service Desk, combining leadership and technical expertise to keep all systems running smoothly. You'll coordinate workloads, mentor team members, and act as a key escalation point for complex technical issues, ensuring the highest standards of service delivery across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:



Lead and

coordinate daily helpdesk operations

, allocating tickets and managing team performance. Support, coach, and develop IT service desk staff. Ensure SLA targets are achieved, escalating issues where needed and delivering regular performance reports. Identify and

implement process improvements to optimise efficiency

and user experience. Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues, supporting upgrades, patching, and deployments. Administer mobile and equipment contracts with accuracy and cost-efficiency. Ensure

compliance with ITIL and ISO27001 standards

through effective documentation and process management. Liaise with internal stakeholders and external vendors, providing regular updates on helpdesk performance.

About You



Degree or diploma in IT, or equivalent practical experience. Minimum

3 years' experience leading IT service teams

. Proficiency across

Windows, Active Directory, Office 365, Intune, and Defender.

Working knowledge of networking fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, VPN)

and ITSM/ticketing systems.

Strong communication, leadership, and organisational skills
